About Go Simple
Janet Conroy, founder of Go Simple, specializes in organizing
and sales. She helps her clients get back on track and find the
inner harmony and greater purpose that so many are searching for.
Janet has traveled the world since 1988 as a flight attendant
with American Airlines. During those travels she is exposed to
many organizing ideas, which was the foundation for Go Simple.
Being a flight attendant gave her time to try other endeavors
as well. She took full advantage of that time!! Janet graduated
with an Education Degree from Concord College in West Virginia
and soon after found new adventures with American Airlines. After
the tragic events of September 11, 2001, she was given the opportunity
to explore other career options. At that time she had no computer
skills and immediately enrolled at The Salter School and completed
an Executive Assistant Certificate simultaneously completing an
Entrepreneur Certificate from Northeastern sponsored by The Center
for Women and Enterprise.
Working as a Flight Attendant, she still utilized her teaching
degree. She taught Physical Education at St. Williams Elementary
from 2000-2003 until the closing at the end of 2004. After taking
classes at the Slater School, Janet accepted a position teaching
for a semester. This is when Go Simple started taking
off, so no more teaching. But never say never, Janet has started
teaching The Art of Organizing at Boston University through their
Psychology Department which was a stepping stone into speaking
to groups on Time Management and Paper Clutter. Today, Janet
lives in Canton with her son, William. When he was younger, he
explained what his mommy does for work; "She is a Flight
Attendant, a teacher and she made her own job". He seems
to be one of her biggest fans!
